Piero Fornasetti (Milan, 10 November 1913 - 15 October 1988) is a fundamental artist of the twentieth century. With his work, eclectic and multifaceted, he was a determining figure for the Italian culture of industrial design. A distinctive element and precursor of the times was to make the face of singer Lina Cavalieri ICON, bringing it back and translating it into infinite variations. The FORNASETTICO project plays with the multiplication of the author's face itself, bringing the gaze back to the mind behind the project. In the house and household furnishings no longer the mannered face of the beautiful Lina but the direct and strong gaze of the author who conceived it in an infinite game of references that plays on the power of creation!
